Simultaneous Ring

This feature ensures that you will not miss important calls by ringing your calls to other locations (e.g.: your cell-phone and/or office line). Unlike follow-me or basic call forwarding, this feature will simultaneously ring all locations until the call is answered or voicemail answers.

Voicemail for the location that has the shortest voicemail timer will answer first. So, if your cell-phone is set to send a call to voicemail in 15 seconds and your Quantumvoice voicemail is set for 20 seconds, your cell-phone's voicemail will respond first.

You can have multiple simultaneous ring locations. Please note that there is a monthly quota of 500 simultaneous minutes for all plans except the Lite plans which get 250 minutes. If you go over the 500 simultaneous ring minutes quota each additional minute is $.04/minute.

Optional: Unlimited Simultaneous Ring Calls

For an additional $10.00/mo, you can have unlimited simultaneous ring/forwarded calls to any one telephone number. For more details, see the Unlimited Simultaneous Ring description page. This is available for all plans except the Residential Lite and SOHO Lite plans.

Adding a simultaneous ring location

  1. Log on to your phone portal.
  2. Click on the "my account" tab.
  3. In the \'add simultaneous ring location:\' section:
    1. phone number: the phone number must be in the following form: "NPANXXXXX" (Area Code + Phone Number). Do not prefix the phone number with a "1". Example: "7345551212" versus "17345551212" (incorrect).
    2. expires: select how long this simultaneous ring location should last.
    3. Press the "Add" button to add the new simultaneous ring location.

Removing a simultaneous ring location

  1. Log on to your phone portal.
  2. Click on the "my account" tab.
  3. In the table above 'add simultaneous ring location:' section click the "delete" link next to the simultaneous ring location you wish to remove.
