In most cases, your service will be transferred to Digital Realm within 2 to 3 weeks. In some cases, it may take up to 45 days to transfer your service. It depends on how soon your current provider will release your number to us. If you are transferring a wireless phone number, those sometimes take longer to transfer and a PIN may be required by your wireless carrier to initiate the transfer request.
Quantumvoice will notify your that we have received your request to transfer your telephone number. We will follow up as soon as possible with a due date for when your phone number will transfer from your current provider to Quantumvoice. After your telephone number transfer is complete, your current telephone service may no longer function. It is important that you do not notify your current provider to disconnect your service until AFTER your phone number has successfully switched to Quantumvoice. However, If you do not notify your currently provider to cancel your service once it has been transferred to Quantumvoice, you may continue to receive a bill from your current telephone provider, even though your telephone number has switched to Quantumvoice.
You must not cancel service with your current provider until AFTER your phone number is transferred to Quantumvoice. If you cancel service with your current provider before your phone number is switched to Quantumvoice, your transfer request will be delayed or denied by your current provider.
Quantumvoice can only transfer phones numbers from cities where we offer local service. In some cases, Quantumvoice may be unable to transfer your telephone number even if we provide service in your area.
Be certain the name and address on your Quantumvoice account match exactly the information on your current provider's account (what is on your phone bill from them). Your phone number transfer request may be delayed or denied if the name or address on your current telephone provider's account are different than the information on your Quantumvoice account.
